Bob Dudley is Group Chief Executive of BP. Mr. Dudley has broad experience across the international oil industry. Previously, he served as President of BP’s Gulf Coast Restoration Organization in the United States and President and CEO of TNK-BP in Moscow. Earlier roles at BP include Vice President, where hew was responsible for upstream business in Russia, the Caspian region, and Africa, and Vice President for alternative and renewable energy activities. He joined the industry in 1979 and held a variety of engineering, commercial, and strategy posts with Amoco in the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, and China until the merger with BP in 1999.

Mr. Dudley joined the Rosneft Board in 2013 following BP’s sale of TNK-BP in Russia and acquisition of approximately 20% of Rosneft. In 2009, he was appointed to the BP board, with responsibility for the group’s activities in the Americas and Asia. His external roles include membership to various business councils, the UK/UAE CEO Forum, the Advisory Board of the Tsinghua School of Economics and Management in Beijing, the UK/Turkey CEO Forum, and the Russian Geographical Society. Mr. Dudley holds BS from the University of Illinois, an MIM from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
